Set up Zapier integration

Zapier lets you connect your Voog forms and orders to thousands of other tools, so you can automate workflows without writing a line of code. For example, send contacts to Mailchimp, log order details in Google Sheets, add webinar signups to Zoom, create leads in Salesforce, or trigger automatic confirmation emails after a purchase.

Getting started

First, create a Zapier account if you don’t already have one. Then start by creating a Zap — during this process you’ll set up the connection between Voog and Zapier. The connection requires your API key and Voog site URL. Once connected, you can build and publish your Zaps, and later manage them directly in your Zapier account.

Creating a workflow (Zap)

Go to Zapier and add a new Zap (+ Create). Search for Voog and select it as your app. Then choose your trigger event (form or order). Add an action like send form data to Google Sheets, push orders to your CRM (customer management tool) or email customers automatically. Map the fields, test, and publish.

Set up the trigger
  1. Under Trigger, search and select Voog.
  2. When connecting Voog for the first time, you’ll need to enter your API token and Voog site URL. Read how to get API token and Voog URL.
  3. Once you have connected then choose your trigger event (form or order).
  4. If you choose a form-related trigger event, select the form ID of the form you want to use.
  5. Run a test to confirm Zapier can successfully retrieve form data.

For future Zaps, you won’t need to re-enter your API token or site URL— Zapier will remember your Voog account.

Set up the action
  • Choose the app you want to connect to—like Google Sheets, Slack, ClickUp, PipeDrive, Calendly, or any of Zapier’s thousands of integrations.
  • Select an action event, like Create database item, Send channel message, or Add card to board.
  • Connect your account for that app.
  • In the Configure tab, map your Voog fields to the relevant fields in your chosen app.
Run a final test to make sure everything works, and then publish your Zap.

How to connect Zapier to Voog

The first time you create a Zap in Zapier with Voog, you’ll need to set up the connection by entering your API token and your Voog site URL. Zapier will remember these details for future Zaps, so you don’t have to enter them again.

  1. In the Trigger step, select Voog as the app.
  2. A popup titled Allow Zapier to access your Voog Account will appear.
  3. Paste your API token and Voog site URL from Voog into the fields.
  4. Click Yes, Continue to Voog to finish the connection.
After this, you’ll be able to choose your event trigger and continue setting up your workflow.
You’ll be asked for these the first time you connect Voog as a trigger in a Zap. Once connected, Zapier remembers your account, so you won’t need to repeat this unless you connect a different site.

How to get your API key and Voog site URL

To get API key fo Zapier, open the Integrations view in Voog.
  • If Zapier is already active: go to the Your integrations section and click Zapier. A Zapier window will open showing your API token and Voog site URL, which you can copy and use when setting up your first Zap.
  • If Zapier isn’t active: click Zapier under the Available integrations list to generate a new API key for Zapier integration. It will then appear under Your integrations with the status Active, and from there you can open it to see your API key and Voog site URL.
You can find your Zapier API key under the General tab.
